Vidya Bhawan Education Resourse Centre has always been open to making partnerships to further the larger objective of quality education for everybody. We work with various likeminded organizations and also support other NGOs in capacity building of their staff members.
VBERC works with governments of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Orissa, and Uttrakhand in various dimensions and with varying degrees of intensity. It organizes trainings and workshops with teachers, teacher-trainers, curriculum developers and other functionaries in these states with the objective to prepare resource groups and sharpen their understanding of pedagogical and philosophical concepts, nature of subjects,
curriculum, syllabus, textbooks and other teaching-learning materials and evaluation methods.
VBERC networks with likeminded organizations like Eklavya, Digantar, ICICI Centre for Elementary Education, Azim Premji Foundation, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, WIPRO Applying thought in Schools, UNICEF, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Michael and Susann Dell
Foundation, Ministry of Human Resource development, HLPL (Hazira LNG Private Limited, Shell group), British Petroleum and other such organizations active at different levels to enable sharing among organizations. VBERC mediates dialogue between school teachers and other field workers and the education academia on ideas, concepts, research, practice and experiences to generate effective learning experiences for children at large.
We have also set up connections with faculty members from institutions of higher learning and research like University of Delhi, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, University of Montréal, MIT, Singapore University, Oxford University, University of New South Wales, etc. We have a close linkage with the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur through our Vidya Bhawan Teachers Training College. VBERC has been an active collaborator with TISS (Mumbai) and other partners in conducting an MA (Education) course for practitioners of education.
We have active linkages of support and involvement with several non-governmental organizations involved in implementing field based education programmes like Digantar, Seva Mandir, CARE, Nalanda, Azim Premji Foundation units in Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, Gyanshala, etc. .
